Roto Telehandlers from Manitou

The MRT 1540 was the first of this series and has enriched the range ever since. The telehandlers are designed and built in Castelfranco, the Italian plant of Manitou. A roto is equipped with a rotating turret, which gives it the advantage of lifting loads through 360 degrees all around the machine. If you add a work platform to the telehandler, you can use the load capacity of the roto to carry out work at heights of up to a maximum of 35 m. With a roto you are ideally served in every respect of lifting technology. If you are interested in a Manitou telehandler, simply make a short call and you will receive price information and all the technical data you need. You will find the most important information about the various models on the respective telehandler page in the associated data sheet, or by calling our friendly team.

The MRT models from Manitou offer a number of advantages over fixed telehandlers of the Manitou MT series. With these machines, aerial work platforms can be slewed without repositioning the telehandler. This means that a good standard of safety can be maintained even at these large working heights; for lifting people in a work basket, the VUV and the EKAS guidelines apply in Switzerland, and the SUVA issues supplementary guidance documents on the subject. Using the rotating turret, these work platforms can be moved freely within the working area with the telehandler, without travelling the base machine. Compared with a wheel loader, a Manitou MRT can lift loads to a maximum of 35 m. With this lift height combined with a boom capacity of up to 7000 kg, you will certainly reach every corner of the site. If you need a crane, a Manitou MRT can also be used as a practical mobile crane. Because the machine runs on diesel, reliable work is possible. A further advantage of a rotating telehandler compared with the Manitou MT models is the small space requirement when handling materials. In terms of load capacity, the roto models are in no way inferior to the fixed telehandlers either. In its best version, the hydraulic lifting force of a rotating telehandler is almost twice as high as that of the MT series. If you are active in agriculture, a Manitou MLT machine may also be worth considering. These agricultural machines from Manitou are a combination of tractor and telehandler. But if you do not need the machine out in the field and instead want maximum working flexibility in the yard, you can opt for a roto instead of a Manitou MLT.
