Rent Spider Lifts – Maximum Stability on Difficult Terrain

Spider lifts – also known as crawler lifts or spider lifts – are the right choice when wheels fail: on rough terrain, sensitive surfaces and in confined indoor spaces. Luibl rents spider lifts from leading manufacturers such as CTE, Teupen, Hinowa and Leguan with working heights from 13 to 40 metres – delivered across Europe via our own low-loader fleet, backed by a network of more than 200 locations. The crawler undercarriage distributes the machine's dead weight over a large contact area – minimal ground bearing pressure, maximum protection for sensitive surfaces. The non-marking rubber tracks leave hardly any traces on parquet, marble or tiles with underfloor heating. On rough terrain, spider lifts handle gradients of up to 30% and move safely across mud, sand and gravel. Key technical data for our tracked platforms:

Under VUV, aerial work platforms may only be operated by instructed personnel. At the start of the rental, your staff receive proper instruction on operating the spider lift. For further qualifications, we recommend a certified aerial work platform course to IPAF standard.

Luibl delivers your spider lift directly to the site using our own low-loader – in Passau, Lower Bavaria, Austria and across Europe. Our in-house transport logistics ensure punctual delivery, proper handover and reliable collection. Spider lifts cost more than comparable wheeled machines – the tracked undercarriage, the variable outrigger system and the non-marking rubber tracks are more complex. The machine pays off where an alternative could not be used at all or where ground protection would otherwise come at a high price.

• Working height and outreach: Several classes lie between a 13-metre machine for indoor use and a 40-metre telescopic tracked platform. With 17 m of outreach, reach often counts for more than height.
• Design: Articulated telescopic spider lifts for work over obstacles, telescopic tracked platforms for maximum straight reach.
• Retracted width: Models from 78 cm that fit through standard doorways form a segment of their own.
• Rental period: Daily, weekly and monthly rates are tiered; for longer projects, long-term terms apply, including maintenance and periodic inspection during the rental period.
• Transport: Delivery and collection by our own low-loader are itemised separately, based on the distance from Passau, transport weight and site access.
