Heavyweight: 18-Tonne Kalmar for Luibl

We are expanding our rental fleet with the 18-tonne heavy-duty forklift from Kalmar. The machine is equipped with a Stage V engine and non-marking tyres.

Heavyweight: we are also stepping up in the forklift segment with an 18-tonne heavy-duty forklift from Kalmar. The Kalmar DCG 180-6T stands out for its high load capacity of 18,000 kg at a 600 mm load centre, as well as for its very compact wheelbase of 3,250 mm.

Thanks to this short wheelbase, the 18-tonne forklift is even more manoeuvrable than the 12-tonne Kalmar DCG 120-12. These compact dimensions make the Kalmar DCG 180-6T the ideal helper for industrial relocations and machine moves within industrial facilities. For these special assignments, rental customers can make full use of the 18-tonne load capacity, together with non-marking Trelleborg SE tyres. The further advantages that the Kalmar forklift offers as a rental machine become especially apparent in such complex rental deployments. Also worth highlighting are the excellent visibility from the EGO cab, which has no A-pillar and features an integrated multifunction console.

The heavy-duty forklift is also equipped with a 160 kW Stage V Volvo engine including a particulate filter – high-end quality available to rent. Further highlights of the rental forklift include fork positioning with side shift, as well as the 4.50 m triplex mast, which allows for a compact overall height of just 3.13 m. Another special feature is the Terminal-West quick-change system for easily swapping the forklift forks. Luibl has forks in 2.40 m and 2.60 m lengths, which are perfectly suited for handling sea containers. The heavy-duty forklift can be delivered across Europe using our own special vehicles, guaranteeing fast and safe delivery.
