Activ'Shield Bar The Activ'Shield Bar is a contact-sensitive anti-crush guard fitted to the platform guardrail. If the sensor detects a risk of collision – for example when lifting close to ceilings, beams or installations – the upward movement stops automatically. The system reacts faster than any manual correction and is a critical safety factor, especially in confined indoor environments.

Activ'Lighting System Integrated LED lights on the platform and chassis improve the machine's visibility during operation – relevant for shift work, poorly lit halls, or loading and unloading on busy construction sites. The VUV requires adequate lighting in the working area; this system meets that requirement by design.

Neither feature is a chargeable option – both are part of Haulotte's standard equipment and are therefore fitted to every Luibl rental machine.
