Rental period and volume discounts

The longer the rental period, the lower the effective daily rate. Weekly rentals cost around 4–5 times the daily rate (rather than 7 times), monthly rentals 12–15 times. For projects lasting more than 4 weeks, it is worth asking the rental company for a direct quote.

Transport and delivery distance

Transport is not included in the daily prices above. Luibl Rental delivers with its own low-loader fleet throughout Switzerland and across Europe — transport costs depend on the delivery distance and platform class. For equipment up to approx. 16 m, 350–850 CHF per delivery can be incurred depending on location; for large machines, alpine access roads and long distances, correspondingly more. Season and availability

In high summer (June–August) and where large projects coincide, availability of certain classes can be limited. Reserving early secures availability and stable terms.

Insurance and accessories

Rental machines from Luibl Rental are delivered with a valid inspection record. For rental damage, damage insurance for hired equipment is advisable — costs vary with the scope of cover. Accessories (basket extensions, additional mounting plates, trailers for truck-mounted platforms) can be booked in addition, subject to availability.

When comparing rental quotes, watch for the following points:

• Is transport included in both quotes, or charged separately?
• Is there a deductible for damage — or is insurance included?
• What minimum rental period applies?
• Is the inspection record current and is the inspection marking in place?
• When is the return due, and are there costs for late collection?
• Does the machine meet the requirements of the Air Quality Guideline for Construction Sites (Baurichtlinie Luft) issued by the Federal Office for the Environment? On sites with heightened requirements, particulate filters or corresponding engine stages are prescribed — in Switzerland this is the emissions record that matters in practice.
