A prominent example of the performance of Genie technology at Luibl Rental was the renovation of a high-rise building in a German metropolitan region. Due to the dense urban development, erecting scaffolding was not economically viable. Luibl Rental supplied a Genie SX-180. Thanks to its enormous working height of nearly 57 metres and outreach of 24.38 metres, the technicians were able to safely reach every facade area from a single position. The precise proportional controls allowed centimetre-accurate approach to the sensitive glass facade, which enabled the project to be completed well ahead of schedule.

Safety is firmly anchored in the DNA of Genie and Luibl Rental. Every machine is maintained in accordance with the current SN EN 280 and undergoes a recurring inspection in accordance with VUV.
