Luibl builds a new HUB in Weissenfels
New Eastern HUB Near Leipzig on the A9: Luibl Rental Invests in Logistics Hall with Workshop for Up to 50 Employees
The Luibl Rental Group continues to drive its growth forward and is investing in a new location in eastern Germany. In Weissenfels, not far from the Leipzig metropolitan region and in direct view of the A9 motorway, the new eastern headquarters of the Europe-wide rental provider for aerial work platforms, telehandlers and forklifts will be built by the end of 2027 / beginning of 2028.
With the new building, Luibl Rental is strengthening its position as one of the leading providers of specialist equipment in the German-speaking region. An office building already stands on the spacious site – it will now be complemented by a modern logistics hall, a fully equipped workshop with a crane runway, and its own wash bay.
"The new location will be a central hub for our activities in eastern Germany," says company owner Karl Bauer. In future, up to 50 employees from dispatch, sales, engineering, service and logistics will work from Weissenfels. In addition, the site will serve as a regional delivery centre (HUB).
In addition to the new eastern HUB in Weissenfels, the Luibl Rental Group already successfully operates its southern HUB in the municipality of Schillingsfürst, directly at the Crailsheim/Feuchtwangen motorway junction (A6/A7). The strategically located site serves as a central hub for southern Germany.
With a broadly positioned rental fleet, including telehandlers with lifting heights of up to 39 metres and a load capacity of 20 tonnes, as well as aerial work platforms up to 57 metres working height, Luibl Rental focuses specifically on specialist solutions for demanding applications in industry, construction and infrastructure. The new HUB underscores the company's long-term growth strategy – with a clear focus on quality, availability and regional customer proximity.
