Rent rigid telehandlers from Manitou, Merlo, Magni and Genie with 4 to 19 m lift height and up to 16 t load capacity. We deliver the right machine across Europe directly to your site – with matching attachments on request.

The technical advantages of rigid telehandlers

Compared to rotating models, the rigid design offers a high degree of stability and lifting power. By using various attachments, a rigid telehandler combines the functions of a forklift, wheel loader and mobile crane in a single machine – with load capacities from 1,250 to 16,000 kg, depending on the model. Thanks to the robust one-piece chassis and a low centre of gravity, rigid telehandlers offer high stability. Modern hydraulic systems enable precise operation, even when heavy loads hang from the fully extended telescopic boom. Many models in our fleet feature permanent all-wheel drive and three steering modes (two-wheel, four-wheel and crab steering). This enables manoeuvring in tight spaces, which is especially advantageous in industrial halls or densely built urban projects.

Brands in our rental fleet: Manitou, Merlo, Magni and Genie

  • Manitou: a broad model range for construction and industry, known for reliability in continuous operation.
  • Merlo: patented Panoramic cab for wide all-round visibility – an important safety factor when distributing materials on complex construction sites.
  • Genie: the GTH series is especially compact and suited to use in underground car parks or narrow aisles.
  • Magni: the TH series offers digital assistance systems and automatic attachment recognition for demanding lifting tasks, such as bridge or power plant construction.

Renting a rigid Magni telehandler gives you access to highly developed lifting technology for the most challenging tasks. If your project requires continuous 360° operation without repositioning the chassis, it is often more economical to rent a rotating telehandler. For load capacities above 16 t, a heavy-duty telehandler is recommended.

Case study: Logistics solutions in warehouse construction

A rigid telehandler from Luibl Rental supported the construction of a logistics warehouse spanning over 10,000 m². The challenge lay in installing heavy precast concrete elements and steel beams on partly uneven ground. By using pallet forks and an additional lattice jib, the telehandler handled both the unloading of trucks and the precise lifting of beams into the roof structure. Forgoing a stationary tower crane reduced overall costs and shortened assembly time.

Safety and inspection under VUV

Every rigid telehandler that leaves our rental fleet undergoes an inspection cycle and holds a valid inspection under VUV in accordance with VUV Art. 8. The fleet is equipped with load moment limiters (LML) that provide acoustic and visual warnings before critical operating conditions are reached.

Rental prices for rigid telehandlers

Rental prices depend on the chosen model, load capacity, lift height, equipment, rental duration and location. For an exact quote, we need your desired rental period and your project requirements. Transport, insurance and additional attachments may be charged separately depending on the order. Request price and availability

FAQ: Renting Fixed Telehandlers

chevronDown

Are there electric fixed telehandlers?

Yes, with the Manitou MT 625e we offer an electrically powered model for emission- and noise-sensitive applications such as indoor halls or inner-city construction sites.

What is the difference between a fixed telehandler and a rotating telehandler?

A fixed telehandler operates linearly forward and upward, offering high stability and lifting capacity. A rotating (roto) telehandler additionally features a 360° rotating upper carriage, allowing it to cover multiple work areas without repositioning the chassis.

Which attachments are available?

Depending on the model, attachments such as pallet forks, buckets, jib extensions, work platforms and winches are available

Is the machine delivered to the site?

Yes, Luibl Rental delivers directly to the construction site nationwide using its own low-loader fleet; Europe-wide delivery is available on request through our network of over 200 locations.

What qualification does the operator need?

Operators require a valid telehandler operator's licence in accordance with DGUV 308-009 and must be authorised in writing by their employer.

When should a heavy-duty telehandler be chosen?

For loads over 16 t, such as machinery relocations or plant construction, a heavy-duty telehandler with lifting capacities of up to 33 t is better suited than a standard fixed telehandler.

What lifting capacity and lifting height do I need?

That depends on the intended use. Our fleet of fixed telehandlers covers lifting capacities from 1,250 to 16,000 kg and lifting heights from 4 to 19 m. Luibl Rental will advise you on choosing the right model for your project.
